    This position is located in ZOLL's corporate offices in Chelmsford, MA. 

     

    Job Summary: 

    Under the guidance of the Manager of Health Plan Programs, ensures ZOLL employees have comprehensive benefit coverage that meets their needs.  Assists with the administration of the company-wide benefits program, including, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stop loss, life insurance and short and long term disability. Ensures ZOLL’s benefit plans balance business requirements with employee value.  Communicates the strength and values of ZOLL’s benefit programs to HR leaders across all our divisions, and serves as an ambassador of ZOLL’s benefit programs to all our employees.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Work jointly with the Manager of Health Plan Programs in the delivery of all benefits, including communication program development and working with vendors
    • Assist in the planning, preparation and execution of annual open enrollment
    • Partner with vendor and work with HRIS specialist to ensure all benefit systems, processes and procedures result in smooth program management and accurate eligibility data
    • Responsible for monthly reconciliation of invoices for medical, dental, and vision across all divisions
    • Review and assist with standardizing benefits processes across all divisions, including the annual Benefits Guide
    • Responsible for ensuring COBRA members’ coverage is updated/maintained
    • Respond to benefit inquiries from managers, employees and Division HR on benefits related issues and ensure issues are appropriately resolved
    • Participate in area and industry benefits surveys
    • Review and analyze High Claims and Stop Loss issues

    Qualifications

    • strong knowledge of benefit plan design and administration
    • effective communicator – able to listen well and understand underlying messages; also able to convey complex ideas in an accessible way to a variety of audiences from front-line to executive

    • ability to travel up to 15-20% of the time

    Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Associates degree required (Bachelors preferred), or 7+ years of HR/Benefits experience with focus on benefits administration, experience with HRIS and/or Benefits administration systems.
