  • Overview

    The Senior Contracts Specialist II will be responsible for managing high level contracts and related activities for ZOLL’s North American markets which include Hospital, EMS and Public Safety.  This role will play an integral part in supporting various clients inside the company.  


    • Review customer RFP’s, RFI’s, and contracts/documents for compliance with ZOLL’s policies an legal requirements
    • Independently draft redline responses to initial contract requests, RFP/RFI’s and amendments to existing contracts utilizing common contracting methods
    • Responsible for negotiating, structuring, and/or administrating contractual documents that establish business relationships with customers and/or partners
    • Works with sales and service teams as well as the legal department to structure contracts
    • Analyzes contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government specifications and other requirements
    • Lead negotiations of contract terms and conditions with customers as well as pricing integrity through conference calls, email, etc.
    • Acts as a liaison between Contracts Specialists and Contracts Manager, Legal or other departments
    • Provide support to Contracts Manager, Sales Management, and National Accounts
    • Acts as the subject matter expert for the sales team regarding contract content and applicability to their customers
    • Interface with Customer Service, field sales, Risk Management, legal, and others on contract/pricing issues
    • Respond to miscellaneous data/report requests, requiring analytical thinking


    • Must be confident in working independently after initial training
    • Strong computer skills; high level of proficiency with MS Office critical;
    • Knowledge of reporting software (i.e. Access, R&R, Crystal);
    • Experience working with Oracle or other ERP system
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to prioritize projects and work independently
    • Must be comfortable in interacting with all levels of the organization
    • Must have far-reaching experience in contract negotiations
    • Extensive experience in contract redlining using MS Word track changes is mandatory



    Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
    • 5+ years of experience is required
