Responsibilities

  • Leading ZOLL Medical to become the market leading resuscitation solutions supplier in Germany/Austria
  • Provide leadership to all sales, service and marketing functions of the business in Germany/Austria to continue and accelerate profitable growth and take operation on to next level in its development
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy to maximise revenue and profit potential in each market segment
  • Achieve revenue, gross margin, operating expense, profit and market share targets for subsidiary
  • Model company values
  • Build on the strong market presence already established in key market segments and further strengthen ZOLL’s reputation as a premium supplier with a strong reputation for leading edge technology and high customer satisfaction
  • Develop markets for new and emerging resuscitation technologies to maximise ZOLL share and return on investment
  • Continuous development of sales and marketing operation as measured by:
    • Revenue per head
    • Margin per head
    • Operating expenditure to revenue
    • Order closure rate
    • Balance of product mix
  • Continuous improvement of effectiveness of support operations (eg. marketing and technical service) as measured by:
    • Customer satisfaction
    • Revenue per support head
    • Profit per support head
    • Inventory turns
    • DSOs
    • Repair turnaround
  • Develop the German/Austria team such that each team member achieves their maximum potential
  • Continue to nurture winning team spirit
  • Manage day-to-day operational and personnel issues associated with running a subsidiary operation
  • Continue to model and develop best practice
  • Develop strong working relationships with key thought leaders in the German market
  • Compile and deliver order and sales forecasts
  • Make effective contribution to overall strategic direction of European Direct Operations
  • Develop tactical marketing programmes in partnership with Marketing Manager to achieve required growth and profitability
  • Interaction with colleagues in ZOLL:
    • Developing effective relationships with colleagues to ensure business potential and customer satisfaction are maximised and a winning, professional, supportive culture is fostered
    • Ensure agreed actions are followed up in a timely fashion
