Provide solutions and guidance to Service Technicians in the day to day operations of the Repair Depot Service area. Assist Supervisor in the completion activities of the group and fill in during the Supervisor’s absence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with Supervisor to organize, distribute and monitor the daily completion of work within your specified scope of authority.
  • Train and assist less Senior Technicians, Distributors and Customers on ZOLL Service techniques.
  • Expected to take initiative to identity problems and provide recommend solutions to Supervisor.
  • Troubleshoot Zoll products to the board level failure or mechanical failure to determine root cause of the failure and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform mechanical and software upgrades to ZOLL products.
  • Provide input to Supervisor to support failure resolution and reviews product support documentation that needs Engineering Support.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support, Contracts, QA, Manufacturing and other departments as required to bring resolutions to customer returns Work within limits of prescribed procedures to ensure accurate completion of unit recertification.
  • Compile and document investigation, repair and test results in paperless device history record and ensure compliance with QSR/ISO requirements.
  • Discuss technical problems encountered while troubleshooting or testing with supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent Oral and Written communications skill
  • Computer literate, familiar with Oracle, Camstar and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data.
  • Must be able to read and understand Technical schematics.
  • Must be able to setup and use test equipment including, patient simulators, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other input/output electronic test equipment.

 

Education Requirements:

  • ASEE degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years minimum experience.
