Job Summary:

This individual will be responsible for selling temperature management systems (capital equipment) to acute care hospitals.  He or she also works in partnership with a ZOLL Clinical Education Specialist in delivering pre and post-sale training and customer service.  

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Generate sales of capital equipment to hospitals by identifying the customer’s purchase process and aligning his or her sales process, ultimately resulting in a long-term “win-win” relationship. Drive business to expected dollar and unit expectations.
  • Build relationships with high-level clinicians, including physicians and nursing leadership in Cardiology, Critical Care, Neurointensive care, Emergency Department (ED), Cath Lab, Biomedical Engineering, etc.
  • Develop and leverage business relationships with high-level professionals in Supply Chain, the C-level and integrated delivery networks (IDN).
  • Initiate and manage tightly-controlled product evaluations, driving toward purchase (or rental) at conclusion.
  • Work with other ZOLL sales organizations, particularly the US Hospital and LifeVest Teams, in an effort to team sell into healthcare systems, in order to drive ZOLL’s entire offering of products and services.
  • Provides various reports as required by management.
  • Maintain and track demo and evaluation inventory.

Qualifications

Skill Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience selling capital medical equipment to hospitals, preferably in critical care, cardiology and/or neurology
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and manage complex purchasing processes.
  • Strategic and customer oriented selling skills.
  • Professional and ethical.
  • Organizational/Territory Time Management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills. (Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point)

 

Education Requirements:

  • A BS/BA Degree is preferred.
