Job Summary:

This newly created position supports the marketing of the ZOLL portfolio across BRIC, LATAM and emerging markets in the Middle East and ASEAN.  With the addition of the new products to our portfolio there is a need for a greater focus on emerging markets in order to capture share and balance adoption of the ZOLL platform. While this position will be mainly in support of the hospital sector, it will also support EMS where there is a valid opportunity in these markets.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops a market strategy, pricing and product positioning to support the launch of new products
  • Works with the International Directors to develop a strategic platform that positions the entire defibrillator portfolio to ensure that ZOLL maximizes the share of market attainable
  • Develops the downstream marketing materials for the new product, including but not limited to brochures, training materials, web presence and communication plans
  • Prioritizes the available markets and prepares launch materials for each to ensure that the entire portfolio is well understood, and solution selling is at the forefront, to avoid introducing a box mentality in these markets
  • Plans and conducts launch meetings in key markets with the assistance of other marketing staff as needed
  • Works with the international directors and the product managers to move our platforms away from paddles to hands free electrodes
  • Works to establish a tiered market approach to hospitals where sales of all ZOLL defibrillators (including AEDs) can become part of a hospital conversion
  • Works with the International Director to develop and manage the international marketing budget in support of emerging markets
  • Acts as the subject matter expert on defibrillators in emerging markets
  • Works closely with the marketing directors and marketing communications team to guide the sales organization to success and provide excellent customer communication
  • Other activities as defined by the International Director



Skill Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to take complex information and make it useful to customers and sales teams
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation and project management skills
  • Strong results orientation

Required / Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical area, Master’s degree in Marketing preferred
  • 10-12 years of Marketing and Product Management experience
