Job Summary

Our sales model is based on team selling. The Inside Sales - Account Specialsit is a key member of the team that conceptualizes integrated lead generation programs involving Marketing, Sales Development and Field Sales. This includes the qualification activities to increase the pipeline for ZOLL En-pro products and services. Will manage pipeline development, follow up on all leads generated by marketing activities, and all inbound product inquiries and cold calling relative to a specific market segment


Essential Functions:

Act as the liaison between Sales Development, Marketing and Field Sales and insure the seamless integration of program tactics and deployment in a specific market

  • Day-to-day activities to identify and qualify opportunities from lead generation activities, inbound product inquires and outbound cold calling to targeted groups utilizing telephone and email
  • Work with aligned Field Sales staff to target territory and prospects for defined market group
  • Penetrate and develop key contacts and decision makers within prospect groups
  • Utilize consultative sales approach to evaluate and understand prospect's business and needs
  • Supervise, mentor and coach a team of Inside Sales Reps.
  • Communicate En-Pro’s value proposition and tailor to customer
  • Report results to assorted management levels and exchange information specific to lead activity, sales/marketing information. Provide feedback on product requirements and competitive issues
  • Provide training and assistance to other team members on products, services and departmental processes
  • Timely and accurate entry of all pertinent prospect data into the CRM database
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by Sales Development Manager




  • Seven + years of lead generation and/or business development, inside sales, outside sales, or marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent phone and computer skills (MS Office suite);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Execute a daily routine of strategic territory
  • Be self-directed and capable of prioritizing activities and performing multiple
  • Training in Solution Selling, Miller-Heiman, or related sales process training is a plus
  • Energetic, creative. motivated self-starter, goal oriented and a team player
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in defined timeframe-monthly and quarterly
  • Prior experience with CRM databases is a plus
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
