Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a cutting edge technology in a new division of an established medical corporation.  This person will be responsible for creating a ground breaking market for a Hospital Wearable Defibrillator.  The Territory Manager will be accountable in this hospital based position for prospecting, marketing, and sales growth of the ZOLL HWD (Hospital Wearable Defibrillator.)  The ZOLL HWD Territory Manager will provide initial sales activity, customer support, and long term hospital growth of the ZOLL HWD. 


Essential Functions:

  • Establish a market for the ZOLL HWD within the defined geography.
  • Build business relationships with high level clinicians including: physicians, nurses, and nurse administrators in the areas of Cardiology, CV surgery, Cath lab, Telemetry, and anyone responsible for the management of patient survival of sudden cardiac arrest.
  • Develop relationships with hospital administration, purchasing, and anyone involved in the decision making for the placement of the ZOLL HWD within a hospital.
  • Work in conjunction with a mirror clinical representative to educate, train, develop and grow the use of the ZOLL HWD once it is placed within the hospital.
  • Work in a cross functional manner with others from ZOLL to continue to expand the ZOLL product line within the hospital markets.
  • Initiate a traditional Strategic Selling Process which will be measureable, trackable, and include all appropriate reporting functions needed to ensure success.


  • Minimum of 5 years of medically based sales. Experience in selling medical devices within a hospital that is both capital and contract based, is a plus.
