The HR Generalist will be an integral part of the ZOLL Canada team.  They will be responsible for ensuring Human Resources activities are successfully executed; carrying out HR initiatives that comply with Canadian legislation and the ZOLL Corporate policies. 


  • Coach and support managers on employee issues (performance, development, terminations)
  • Hiring and recruiting for new employees
  • Initiate employee contracts and other HR documentation
  • Coordinate onboarding for new employees
  • Manage employee total rewards package
  • Serve as benefits administrator with multiple carriers
  • Ensure semi-monthly payroll is executed with payroll processor
  • Design and create new reporting tools within payroll
  • Maintain employee handbook that aligns with Corporate policies
  • Audit current policies for completeness and create new policies and procedures to adhere to Canadian legislation
  • Design and implement Health & Safety training program for employees


  • Fluently bilingual in English and French (written and verbal)
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience
  • Post-Secondary HR certification or degree
  • Experience with Canadian employment legislation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to details
