Job Summary:

The Digital Demand Gen Manager is a new role created within the growing AED/Public Access business.  This dynamic role requires a combination of skills and experience ranging from digital content creation, strategy, social media management, analytics, and project management skills.  You will work closely with the Global AED Marketing team, creative services and web/digital services team to plan, execute and optimize the entire digital demand generation ecosystem for the AED business.  The Digital Demand Gen Manager will be a key member of the Global AED Marketing team and will help develop the future digital strategy for the ZOLL AED business.  This is truly a unique opportunity for an experienced digital marketer to apply their background in an entrepreneurial environment. 


  • Manage the AED digital demand gen strategy by applying best practices within social, email, and SEO
  • Develop best in class demand gen campaigns to specific audiences in alignment with business priorities and marketing /communications themes
  • Develop and manage annual and quarterly digital content calendar
  • Partner cross functionally with internal teams to develop content and foster best practices
  • Liaison with internal or external agency partners in the execution and management of campaign tactics and deliverables
  • Write, curate, and edit content for clarity, credibility, social sharing and SEOBuild keyword-driven strategic content
  • Work with designers to make content ready to be published in various digital formats
  • Manage reports and dashboards to provide detailed tracking of marketing programs across various channels as well as measure, monitor, and optimize by campaign
  • Maintain and improve the quality and governance of the marketing database, with tactics such as list segmentation, data enrichment projects to improve targeting, data cleansing and list loading
  • Manage media buying internally and / or with outside agencies as needed


  • Proven writing and editorial ability with emphasis on modern forms of communication
  • Command of KPIs and how to deliver desired results
  • Expertise in how to tell a story using words, images and video
  • Proven understanding of how to create content that entices the target audience to take action (provide examples)
  • Proficiency with inbound content marketing platforms such as Hubspot or Marketo
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM
  • Ability to clearly articulate the business goal(s) behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content
  • Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within ongoing and new campaigns
  • Eye for design elements that support content marketing
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as digital content instincts
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in digital media; content creation, media buying, web and community management
  • Experience creating compelling messages for different target audiences and personas
  • Experience aligning content development with staff, writers and resources
  • Experience creating and executing on a digital campaign strategy
  • Global content marketing experience a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 2 – 3X’s per year annually 

Required / Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
